I believe healthcare is a human right; I am committed to making it more accessible for all.

I am a strong advocate for universal healthcare. Until we get there as a country, I am committed to making these healing modalities more accessible.

Many of us have a complex relationship with money—likely inherited from our families—that is further shaped by the burdens of living under capitalism and intersects with other forms of systemic oppression.

I believe that healing belongs to everyone. Through examining my own relationship with money, I found a sliding scale model is most equitable. A sliding scale means being able to support a wider range of people and getting to be involved in true community care.

The shortest version of what community care means to me is: you and I are well when we are all well. When someone in our community is suffering it impacts our own health and we too experience the ripple effects of that suffering (you can go as micro or macro with this as you like, it applies equally!). Our liberation, our wellness, and our thriving is deeply interconnected and when we support each other’s healing we all benefit. Humans are interdependent and our well-being loves when we remember that!

Here is a helpful graphic to understand where you land on the sliding scale:

I offer three sliding scale rates for all sessions:

In Person & Online Sessions
(initial/follow up)

$230/$180
$200/$150
$120/$80

*Any appointments not canceled or rescheduled 24+ hours in advance will be charged in full. This respects everyone's time, energy, and attention (including yours!) and allows for more people to receive care when they need it.

I understand this pricing structure is new for most people. Please take your time to reflect and engage honestly—my ability to practice in this way depends on it. I also understand that your circumstances may change and significant hardship happens. I maintain a few sessions per month for barter exchange; if that sounds right for you, please contact me with what you are seeking and offering.

In September 2020, I started a free community clinic at a church in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn.

After reading about the pastor, Juan Carlos Ruiz, I was deeply inspired by his tireless dedication to his community. The church had become a major food pantry hub during the Covid-19 pandemic, distributing 12,000 pounds of food per day with an incredible team of volunteers. I was grateful to spend time supporting these volunteers and community members with acupuncture, ear seeds, moxa, and cupping. Getting to treat folks in church pews offered a respite from the struggle for safety & justice and space for ease & joy to emerge.
